FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- The Whip is measured from its free end to the bottom of the black insulator, while the radials are measured from their free end to the point where they meet the GP head. The radials must be placed alternately short/long.
- GP 80/160 is a dual band fiberglass ground plane antenna of the three leg type.
- The antenna is tunable within its main frequency bands (by cutting): 66...88 MHz/145...175 MHz.
- The cut diagrams below show the length of the Whips and the radials corresponding to the specific frequencies within the two bands. It is recommended to use the curves as a guide and fine tune with an SWR meter.
- The antenna consists of a brass GP head, two fiber optic radiators and six fiber optic radials.
- The GP 80/160 is made from premium materials and will endure years of "wear and tear" - no maintenance required.
- LW-SS-1" mounting bracket and GP Adapor are available as accessories.
