The DPF 2/6... is a 6-way duplex filter for duplex radio telephones.
This duplexer is supplied in a low band version type DPF 2/6 L, tunable between 138 - 156 MHz and a high band version type DPF 2/6 H, tunable between 152 - 175 MHz. These models are in turn supplied in 3 sub-models, each designed to work with a specific duplex spacing.
The models DPF 2/6... are primarily intended for devices where Tx and Rx operate on a single frequency, but can also be used, if the data is slightly reduced, when Tx and Rx operate on multiple channels, i.e. within a given port bandwidth. In the latter case, factory tuning is recommended.
The filter has very small physical dimensions due to the use of high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators.
The housing is made of extruded aluminum, the chassis is made of passivated steel, and Teflon insulation has been applied in the rigid coaxial cables and in the connectors.
The filter is coated with black vinyl to prevent corrosion.
