• The DPF 2/6-150... is a 6-cavity high-performance duplex filter for base stations in the frequency range
• The duplexer is supplied in two basic models:
• The DPF 2/6-150 L model can be tuned in the 138 - 156 MHz band and the DPF 2/6-150 H model can be tuned in the 152 - 175 MHz band, both with a nominal duplex spacing of 4.5 MHz.
• This filter type uses enlarged (40 x 40 mm) full quarter wavelength cavities with silver plated, temperature compensated resonator elements. The high Q's achieved in these cavities allow the filter to operate with very tight duplex spacing while maintaining low insertion loss. In addition, duplex isolation is improved at medium spacings.
• The increased dimensions also improve the power handling capability of the filter, as the isolation distances at high voltage points are increased and the unavoidable power dissipation (which is always present, even when insertion loss is reduced to a minimum) is spread over a larger area. The filter can operate continuously with an output of 150 W.
• The DPF 2/6-150... is primarily intended for devices where TX and RX operate on single frequencies, but can also be used, with slightly reduced data, where TX and RX operate on multiple channels, i.e. within a certain port bandwidth. In the latter case, factory tuning is recommended.
• The housing is made of extruded aluminum, the chassis is made of passivated steel, and the rigid coaxial cables and connectors are Teflon insulated.
• The DPF 2/6-150... is coated with black vinyl to protect against corrosion.
