FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- The CXL 2-3 GHz is an ultra-broadband, 0 dBd, vertically polarized, omni-directional rod antenna for base station and marine applications in the 2 - 3 GHz band.
- The 1" swivel nut mounting system is standard throughout the marine sector and several different mounting brackets are available, allowing the antenna to be mounted either on the masthead with FLG or SMR 2, on the side of the mast (SMR 1) or on a crossbeam (FLG). The antenna can also be mounted on deck or on the roof using the FLG.
- The higher the antenna is mounted, the better the coverage. Avoid mounting the antenna parallel to or close to other metal parts, such as masts, suspension cables, etc., as otherwise the SWR and radiation pattern can be greatly affected.
- A conical fiberglass tube completely encloses the carefully designed radiating element to ensure long, reliable operation in all climates.
