The clamp insert was developed for use in combination with the RSB-12 and RSB-12-IT RSB clamp.
Using the clamp insert in combination with the RSB clamp protects the SCF12-50 jumper cable from damage, e.g. due to cable movement in windy conditions, which prevents deterioration of the electrical properties.
