FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- The high gain of this antenna combined with its low height makes it the right choice for a wide range of applications.
- The antenna is supplied in two models which can be tuned by cutting within 380...410 MHz (l version) or 406...470 MHz (h version).
- The GP 450-3/... is particularly suitable as a ship antenna in conjunction with 450 MHz cellular radio systems, which make it possible to extend the normally land-based mobile radio system for maritime mobile radio service.
- Due to its compactness, the GP 450-3/... is also ideally suited as a base station antenna.
- The higher the antenna is mounted, the better the coverage. Avoid mounting the antenna parallel to or close to other metal parts such as masts, support wires, etc., as otherwise the SWR and radiation pattern may be affected.
- The antenna can be easily tuned in the field according to the instructions below, or it can be ordered factory tuned for CELLULAR or custom frequencies. See ordering information below.
- Materials used are 18/8 stainless steel, UV stabilized plastic and triple chrome plated brass.
PLEASE NOTE: The GP 450-3/... can also be supplied factory-tuned to a specific frequency or mobile radio network, e.g. TETRA. In this case, please add the frequency or the name of the network to the antenna model, e.g. GP 450-3/390 MHz.
