FEATURES/ADVANTAGES

  • CXL 3-1LW is a 0 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna for the civil aviation radio band 118 - 137 MHz.
  • The antenna is a broadband ½ λ dipole design and is equipped with our "LW" type mast mount, a lightweight, versatile, epoxy-coated aluminum mounting bracket with stainless steel hardware.
  • The antenna can be mounted on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm. The design of the bracket also allows the cable to be routed along either the inside or outside of the mast tube.
  • A tapered fiberglass tube with very low wind loading completely encloses the carefully designed Whip to ensure long, reliable operation in all climates.
  • To significantly reduce interference from atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
  • The CXL 3-1LW is a vibration-resistant, lightweight, slim, corrosion-resistant base station antenna of modern design.
