The MXP7000 is a versatile, critical communication device. It combines mission-critical TETRA and 4G LTE broadband voice and data communications in a secure and rugged Android device.

It is equipped with a large touchscreen, innovative audio technology, Bluetooth® 5.1, a user-replaceable battery and it can run applications to increase work productivity. The system is also very easy to deploy and manage. Device updates are performed via over-the-air updates over Wi-Fi.

Critical TETRA communication
The MXP7000 offers reliable TETRA network coverage for voice and data transmission. Thanks to adaptive noise cancellation with sound field shaping via multiple microphones and adaptive wind noise attenuation, users can clearly hear and be heard even in the noisiest environments.
LTE voice and data communication
For Wi-Fi enabled devices, such as tablets, users can set up a local Wi-Fi hotspot. This connects these end devices to the MXP7000 Wi-Fi access point and they can also send and receive information via LTE. The MXP7000 also offers PTT over LTE broadband via WAVE PTX™ using the same PTT button as in the TETRA network.
Rugged convergent terminal
Difficult environmental conditions are no problem for the rugged MXP7000. The display is made of durable Corning® Gorilla® glass. The MXP7000 has been tested to military standard MIL-STD-810H and is well protected against the ingress of dust, dirt and submersion in water.
User-friendly
The MXP7000 has a range of easy-to-use controls, e.g. a large rotary knob with dual function for volume control and call group selection, two programmable buttons for frequently used functions and a large PTT button. The robust 5-inch touchscreen display is easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
Easy deployment and management
The MXP7000 uses the same Integrated Terminal Management (iTM) tool as other Motorola Solutions TETRA radios for quick and easy programming. The MXP7000 supports Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. Radio managers can use the Wi-Fi connectivity options for device programming and updates. This eliminates the need to physically update each individual portable device; instead, the MXP7000 is securely updated as soon as it comes within range of the associated Wi-Fi network.
