CXL 3-3C is a rugged, 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna that covers the flight frequency band.
The antenna comes with our "C" mast mount, which is a universal, epoxy-coated, non-corrosive aluminum mounting bracket. The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, with cable routing possible on both the inside and outside of the mast tube.
The phasing of the radiating elements is carefully tuned to achieve maximum gain in the horizontal plane, with the level of side lobes reduced to a minimum. Particular emphasis has been placed on achieving a wide bandwidth in terms of both SWR and gain.
The broadband antenna element is completely enclosed in a fiberglass cladding that ensures undisturbed performance in corrosive environments.
To significantly reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
This antenna is designed to ensure long, reliable operation in all climate zones.
