FEATURES/ADVANTAGES

• CXL 3-3C is a rugged, 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna that covers the flight frequency band.
• The antenna comes with our "C" mast mount, which is a universal, epoxy-coated, non-corrosive aluminum mounting bracket. The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
• The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, with cable routing possible on both the inside and outside of the mast tube.
• The phasing of the radiating elements is carefully tuned to achieve maximum gain in the horizontal plane, with the level of side lobes reduced to a minimum. Particular emphasis has been placed on achieving a wide bandwidth in terms of both SWR and gain.
• The broadband antenna element is completely enclosed in a fiberglass cladding that ensures undisturbed performance in corrosive environments.
• To significantly reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
• This antenna is designed to ensure long, reliable operation in all climate zones.
