CXL 2/70C is a dual frequency fixed station antenna : two bands in one common antenna.
This antenna allows:
- interchangeable operation of a 160 and 450 MHz radio system on the same antenna.
- simultaneous operation of two radio systems (160 and 450 MHz) on one common antenna using a diplexer (type DIPX 225/330 - to be ordered separately).
CXL 2/70C is suitable for mounting on mast tubes with diameters of 27 mm and 65 mm.
The design of the mast base allows the cable to be routed either outside or inside the mast tube.
Atmospheric discharges are immediately routed to ground, as all metal parts are DC earthed (the antenna shows a DC short circuit through the coaxial cable).
