FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- The CXL 70-3LW/... is a vertically polarized, omnidirectional 3 dBd base station and marine antenna covering the UHF band in 4 models with up to 10 MHz overlap.
- The antenna fulfills the requirement for a cost effective medium duty antenna to be selected when the exceptional mechanical capabilities of our extremely rugged heavy duty model CXL 70-3C/... are not required.
- The carefully designed radiating element is enclosed in a high-quality, conical fiberglass tube with low wind loading, ensuring performance unaffected by corrosive environments.
- Included is the robust "LW" pole mount - a lightweight, versatile, epoxy-coated mount made from corrosion-resistant aluminum.
- The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
- For mounting on vertical or horizontal pole tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm.
- The cable can be routed along the outside or inside of the pole tube.
- Wide range in terms of both VSWR and reinforcement.
- To significantly reduce interference from atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
- The CXL 70-3LW/... is a vibration-resistant, lightweight, slim, corrosion-resistant, modern base station and marine antenna.
