FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- CXL 3-2C is a robust, 0 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna for the civil aviation radio band 110 - 140 MHz.
- The CXL 3-2C is extremely broadband - and it is ideally suited for use on control towers etc. where reliability is of paramount importance.
- The antenna is supplied with a "C" mast mount, a universal, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of corrosion-free aluminum.
- The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
- The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, whereby the cable can be routed along either the inside or the outside of the mast tube.
- To significantly reduce interference from atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. The antenna therefore has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
- The broadband antenna element is completely enclosed by a fiberglass cover so that performance is not affected even in corrosive environments.
- The CXL 3-2C is designed to ensure long, reliable operation in all climatic conditions.
