CXL 3-2C is a robust, 0 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna for the civil aviation radio band 110 - 140 MHz.
The CXL 3-2C is extremely broadband - and it is ideally suited for use on control towers etc. where reliability is of paramount importance.
The antenna is supplied with a "C" mast mount, a universal, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of corrosion-free aluminum.
The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, whereby the cable can be routed along either the inside or the outside of the mast tube.
To significantly reduce interference from atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. The antenna therefore has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
The broadband antenna element is completely enclosed by a fiberglass cover so that performance is not affected even in corrosive environments.
The CXL 3-2C is designed to ensure long, reliable operation in all climatic conditions.
