FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- CXL 2-3LW/... is a 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station and marine antenna covering the VHF band in 5 models.
- It comes with the rugged "LW" mast mount - a lightweight, versatile, epoxy-coated, non-corrosive aluminum mount.
- The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
- For mounting on vertical or horizontal pole tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm.
- The cable can be routed along the outside or inside of the mast tube.
- Wide range in terms of both VSWR and gain.
- The phasing of the radiating elements is adjusted to achieve maximum gain in the horizontal plane, with the level of side lobes reduced to a minimum.
- The carefully designed broadband antenna element is enclosed in a high quality, conical fiberglass tube with low wind loading, ensuring performance undisturbed by corrosive environments.
- To significantly reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges, all metal parts in the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
- The CXL 2-3LW/... is a vibration-resistant, lightweight, slim, corrosion-resistant base station and marine antenna of modern design.
