FEATURES/ADVANTAGES
- CXL 2-3C/... is a rugged, 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna covering the 160 MHz band in 4 versions.
- The antenna is supplied with "C" mast mount, a universal, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of non-corrosive aluminum. The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
- The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, with cable routing possible on both the inside and outside of the mast tube.
- The phasing of the radiating elements is carefully tuned to achieve maximum gain in the horizontal plane, with the level of side lobes reduced to a minimum. Particular emphasis has been placed on achieving a wide bandwidth in terms of both SWR and gain.
- The broadband antenna element is completely enclosed in a fiberglass cladding that ensures undisturbed performance in corrosive environments.
- To significantly reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
- This antenna is designed to ensure long, reliable operation in all climate zones.
