This handheld control unit for the DM4600, DM4601 and DM4600e, DM4601e radios allows complete flexibility in installation, mobility in the vehicle and full control of your mobile radio.

The radio can be installed where it is most convenient: behind the seat, under the dashboard or in the trunk. The control head can then be mounted close to the user on a standard HLN9073 suspension bracket. The standard spiral cable is 1.8 m long and can be extended up to 3 m.
The optional extension cables extend the operating radius by 3m or even 5m. The hand control unit allows the user to move around the vehicle and still stay connected. Ambulance attendants, bus drivers and delivery drivers can take the control panel to the back of the vehicle instead of being confined to the driver's seat.
With a full keypad, color screen, channel and volume controls, the handset offers the full functionality of a portable radio. Contact lists, text messages, radio settings, work order cards and notifications are accessible from anywhere in the vehicle.
