This key activates the telephone patch function in the SLR1000, SLR5500 or DR3000 repeater
The telephone patch licence enables the repeater to route a landline telephone call to the MOTOTRBO radio system and vice versa.

This is done, for example, by means of a Funktronic FT635 ULE or similar.
