Description

• CXL 2-3C/... is a rugged, 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station antenna that covers the 160 MHz band in 4 models.
• The antenna comes with our "C" mast mount, a universal, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of non-corrosive aluminum. The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
• The antenna can be mounted on mast tubes with a diameter of 27 to 65 mm, with cable routing possible on both the inside and outside of the mast tube.
• The phasing of the radiating elements is carefully tuned to achieve maximum gain in the horizontal plane, with the level of side lobes reduced to a minimum. Particular attention has been paid to a wide bandwidth in terms of both VSWR and gain.
• The broadband antenna element is fully enclosed in a fiberglass cladding so that performance is not affected even in corrosive environments.
• In order to significantly reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC grounded. Consequently, the antenna features a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
• This antenna is designed to ensure long and reliable operation in all climates.
