CXL 70-1LW/... is a 0 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station and marine antenna covering the 450 MHz band in three versions.
The carefully designed, broadband ½ λ dipole radiating element is made of brass tubing and enclosed in a high quality, low wind load, tapered fiberglass tube.
Equipped with the sturdy "LW" pole mount - a lightweight, versatile, epoxy-coated mounting bracket made of corrosion-free aluminum.
The associated U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
For mounting on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm.
The cable can be routed along the outside or inside of the mast tube.

To significantly reduce interference from atmospheric discharges, all metal parts of the antenna are DC earthed. Consequently, the antenna has a DC short circuit via the coaxial cable.
