FEATURES/ADVANTAGES

• This active antenna was developed for use in the TETRA band and GPS.
• The antenna consists of a powerful 3 dBd fiber-optic encapsulated antenna element and an active GPS antenna. The latter is built into the lower part of the antenna together with a diplex filter. Only one downward cable is therefore required.
• The antenna element is a colinear antenna for the frequency range of the UHF band from 380 - 430 MHz.
• The GPS antenna has full hemispheric coverage and a built-in high-gain, low-noise amplifier.
• The necessary supply voltage (5 V DC) for the amplifier is supplied via the coaxial cable that runs downwards. Up to 30 m of RG 214/U coaxial cable can be used between the antenna and the receiver/transceiver.
