In addition to the usual fast charging and charge retention functions, the PassivPlus charging cradle also offers the option of connecting an external antenna. The radio is locked in place by a mechanism at the top end of the charging cradle. Additional accessories can be connected via the SUB-D connector. For example, an RS232 programming cable. Please note the pin assignment (see downloads).

The charging cradle is connected to the vehicle electrical system.
